Kyiv, Ukraine, 28 October 2025 – For the first time, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) hosted the Green Industrial Recovery of Ukraine Day, bringing together government representatives, international partners, the private sector and the media to highlight the joint efforts supporting Ukraine’s green industrial recovery.

On 15 October 2025, the first-ever Conference was held in Kyiv to commemorate the International Day of Rural Women. This event was organized jointly by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Ukraine and UN Women Ukraine. The Conference brought together representatives from government and international organizations, civil society, the private sector, and rural women themselves to highlight their role in community development, national recovery, and economic resilience during wartime.

As millions of Ukrainians prepare for the fourth winter since the full-scale invasion began, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is preparing to deliver critical assistance to help vulnerable households remain warm during the harsh months ahead.
