As voiced on yesterday's UN press briefing in New York by the Spokesperson, the Secretary-General strongly condemns the latest overnight missile and drone attack by the armed forces of the Russian Federation on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, which reportedly resulted in many civilian casualties and widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure. Any attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure, wherever they occur, are a clear violation of international humanitarian law and must stop immediately.
