Access to Early Childhood Education and Care and Women’s Economic Empowerment in Ukraine
Highlights
The purpose of the study is to identify effective ways to expand opportunities for women with children under of their children. By investigating the connections between childcare, social norms, family economics, social protection and employment, the study aims to inform advocacy, reform dialogue and decision-making on how to build a more family-friendly and gender-equal Ukraine. In the context of wartime recovery and EU accession, investing in care systems emerges as both an urgent necessity and a strategic economic investment.
