Ukraine Recovery Snapshot

In the first months of 2024, the UN in Ukraine continued to scale up its support for recovery efforts across the country. Initiatives and programmes ranged from mine action campaigns and promoting innovative demining solutions to installing heating systems in health facilities, repairing homes, schools, and hospitals, expanding school feeding for children across the whole country, and supplementing the value of pensions for vulnerable families and beyond.

During this period, donors provided an additional US$689 million for recovery activities in Ukraine, bringing the total received by UN agencies in the country to $1.6 billion.
