About the event
The training aims to equip collection managers and museum conservators with essential skills, knowledge, and strategies to preserve collections and safeguard cultural assets effectively amidst the ongoing war. The training will focus on implementing stabilization measures, emergency planning, and risk assessment to mitigate the impact of conflict on cultural heritage.
Training spotlight:
● Developing emergency preservation plans and risk management strategies.
● Exploring stabilization techniques applicable in adverse conditions.
● Accessible preservation methods applicable in adverse conditions.
● Emergency data management.
● Case studies of emergency evacuation and stabilization efforts.
How to participate:
Interested participants are encouraged to express their interest by completing the online form by 27 of September 2023. Selected participants will be notified by September 30.
Financial support:
