The event has united representatives of government, civil society, UN experts, and the youth to address the most prominent environmental issues.
The United Nations Environmental Forum 2021 took place on the 15th of June in Kyiv, Ukraine. To begin inclusive public discussions on the most pressing issues of environmental protection, various specialists, including representatives of the government of Ukraine, UN experts, representatives of business, and environmental activists, took part in 6 panel discussions:

Panel 4: How to restore nature and reduce carbon footprint?
Panel 5: Disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation
The Environmental forum began with an opening speech by Ms. Dafina Gercheva, UNDP Resident Representative in Ukraine^ who spoke on behalf of the United Nations in Ukraine.
